Default Will this Fuel Return work?

I am installing a turbosmart FPR 1200 which will convert me from a returnless to a return fuel system. My question is can I use the stock gas tank breather port as a return?

Here is a picture I got from god knows where but I think it ended up woring for this guy.......

I'm thinking that heavy stainless braided line is going to flex and snap that very tiny tube on the return port with time and vibration. That would be one nasty fire.

No matter, there is somthing on the other side of that fitting that is too restrictive for a return so I ran the return right into the top of the sending unit....

did you just drill and tap a fitting in the top of the sending unit? Happen to have a photo?

You happen to know off hand if my '02 gas tank would already have this fitting since it's a return style system to begin with? I have yet to drop my tank to take a good look at everything, still have to get a parts list together to order before I can take the truck out of commission.
