I HATE those hand controls and would recommend SureGrip to him. I have 3 sets of them and LOVE em. The ones he's using always hit my knee.
I can get pics of my spare sure-grip controls and you could likely build some cheaper than they cost.

Other than that. That's a hell of a build. Congrats!

Nice runs! That's about a 10.4x pass, but might pick up more on top with that power glide. Did you guy's get a chance to weigh it?

Here's a video of mine. I have a set in my Silverado (in video) which I made my own mount for, a set in my 89 S10 blazer, and an extra set I had in my 89 Camaro. It's around here somewhere.

you just telling it all thomas, how we supposed to race people........
well if its all out there, 3 more passes today 1- @ 6.70 2- 6.60 @ 102
we are going to build a 5.3 with flat tops and worked 5.3 heads and see what it makes.

has anyone on here heard that the round coils from the earlier engines make more power than the sqaure ones? had a guy tell us that he has dynoed a 15 hp rear wheel difference between the two, i wonder if he just had a bad one to start with or has anyone run into this?
