will any other ls1/genIII v8 maf work?

I dont have a maf currently for my motor (5.3L) will any ls1/genIII v8 maf work? are they all the same size? Because I plan to get an aftermarket CAI

WHAT no maf sensor is this a older truck that your puting the 5.3 into , and yes they are all the same O/D. but if you want to buy an after market maf i have one later,keivn

Ummmmm... yeah I agree w/ Kevin. You 100% sure you dont' have a MAF? Your truck would run poorly without one.

it's a 4.3L right now, but I'm not sure if my MAF will work with the 5.3 computer, I can't really see if they're the same since I dont have one for the 5.3

I might possibly need new maf ends or something, i dunno, i havne't really looked into to it much
