Bolt patter should be way diffrent I think horse power tv did a show with ls heads on a 96 to 99 block but where crazy expensive

Anything could be machined i guess but this thought process is a total waste of time. Who ever told you this would work has no clue and should stay away from GM engines, let him go **** up a ford or something no one wants.

I believe the only things that the Gen 1 small block ( 55-96) has in common with the GEN III LSx engines are they are both push rod V8's and might share a similar bore size when compared to the 5.7 LS1. No parts will interchange.

I agree with you all and he does drive a Fixed Or Repaired Dodge!! I wasn't 100% sure and didn't want to call him a dumbass to his face w/o being totally sure but when I see him tomorrow I'll call him a dumbass
