Default Wierd problem at 55+ punch

If I'm cruising along at 55mph or better and nail it, it feels like the throttle blade opens, then closes, and opens again. It Happens really quick. It's like it pins you in the seat, then drops, before you can fall good, it's back hard in the seat. I tested it on up to 75 at 5mph incriments tonite and it did it every time I did it. At 50 it does what it's suppose to .. nail it and it goes.

Anyone got any ideas? I haven't had a chance to put EFILive on it to see what exactly is going on, but by looking at the boost gauge, it's the throttle closing down to about 40% then slamming back to WOT. It may be going all the way closed, then slamming back. I will see if I can log it tomorrow .. in the mean time .. I'm all ears.

FYI .. it dowshifts, then closes the blade, opens it and goes. It doesn't feel like it's shifting in this period.

Didn't Parish have a similar problem and it ended up being traction control?

I was going to say traction control too, that or some kinda late reacting TM. Swap to a cable throttle body and you wont need to figure it out though

I am 99% sure that I have all the TM, TCS and Abuse mode stuff 0'ed out. I will check on all that though and make sure.

Mine did the same thing, Nelson did leave a little TM in my tranny since I only have a shift kit and servos and not a fully built one, but after some miles of abuse the tranny shifts perfect, maybe you' just need some time/miles to the PCM to adjust.

You might double check these tables: Max Air ETC, ETC rev limit, and that Calculated Air Flow table in the Engine Diagnostic section.
