Wideband O2 Question
I did a search and couldn't find this exact answer.
I am going to purchase HPTuners and get in the game. I know there new version coming out will accept a wideband O2. Would the Bosch 5 wire Wideband O2 work with this AND my autometer A/F gauge??
I was wondering if I could hook up the wideband to the A/F gauge to see the A/F in realtime while I do my daily driving. I see there is an AEM A/F wideband but I already have a full compliment of Autometer and would like to use it if possible. Also part two of that question.. what wires need to be connected to make it work..the gauge that is.
I have longtubes and will be placing the Wideband in the rear O2 bung and delete the rear O2s with the HPtuner.
Any help would be appreciated.

The autometer guage is designed to accept a narrowband input from stock 02 sensors. 0-1 volt. A wideband is 0-3 or 0-5 volts. So no, the autometer guage won't work.

The DynoJet Wideband Commander comes with a choice of two custom Autometer wideband O2 gauges (measuring between 10-18), check them out here. One of the gauges is actually a Z-Series with a silver bezel rather than the normal Z-Series black bezel. If you need it, Autometer will change out the bezel for a small fee $12 + shipping), which is what I did - I got the Z-Series gauge and got the silver bezel replaced with a black one by Autometer, so the A/F gauge matches my other Z-Series Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges.

Didn't know about the autometer wideband guages. Bonedog, do you have on of those, or the one with the circle of led lights? The one with the led lights won't work.

At this time, you can only get the custom wideband Autometer gauge with the Wideband Commander kit. Autometer said something about possibly offering it (or something like it) later, but you can't get one by itself right now.
