I have no clue about the 4cyl mode, mine's just a regular old 6.0. I'm extended cab, 2wd, and 3.42 gears. Believe it or not the 6.0 gets BETTER highway mileage than the 4.8 due to the fact that it never has to drop down to 3rd to get up a significant hill.

Has anyone here gone from stock 20's to centerlines with the new CC Vmax? How was that mod for performance gains?

I would stay clear from nelson, like stated customer service is ok and he locks his pcm. nothing but problems in the near future if you add more mods and want to dyno tune or change over to different tuner. either go wheatly or blackbear. I have heard great things about them both.

BTW, I downloaded a HyperTech tune from a friends truck and compared it to stock and all that thing did was increase the upper RPM timing table 1-3 degrees... That is it....

Just Wondering Why You Capitalize Every Word In Your Post? Sorry, couldn't resist, good luck with your project.

If you are really looking for performance, go forced induction. ie, supercharger or turbo. I started off just like you looking at magical horsepower boxes and throttle body spacers. I even wasted my money on a diablosport predator tuner. But the more I learned the more I realized that to satisfy my need for horsepower, that a supercharger was the way to go.

I had the same problem until I got a small round eavy friend called converter that gets you off the line in 3600 rpm (gotta love what that thing can do)
