Thanks, I will check all that out. Yes, I pulled the motor/tranny/t-case out together, so I suppose it's possible that something got pinched.

It's an electric gauge. I'll try to find a mechanical one to hook up to make sure. Thanks for the ideas

No prob...I had a horrible time with mine as well. I put a shielded wire in for the sender and grounded the shield on one end and that solved my problems. Not that is your problem, but don't forget to check the simple things as well. Good luck!

Although others have pointed it out i'll post anyway

Big culprits for this would be, the flex line at the engine fuel rail, and the flex lines between the tank sender and the steel lines. This is probably you're problem, that you just got a little kink in there somewhere when doing your engine/tranny pull.

Pulled the line off the FPR and the pressure shot up to 64 psi, put it back on, back down to 58. I'm gonna re-check all the lines and make sure one isn't leaking, then I'll check the return line and see if it is kinked.

Well I pulled the s/c off last night for a different issue, and when I reinstalled it the pressure was back to normal, so there must have been a small leak in one of the hoses somewhere.
