Mobile 1 synthetic 0W-30 is going to be my winter driving oil, and 5W-30 in the spring/summer/fall. I use the extended oil filters on all my vehicles and the new 5.7L is getting an oil cooler up front, a stock part from a 1500HD. Around 4500-5000 mile oil change intervals when I find time near the 5k mile mark.

amsoil 5w-30, i ran my old firebird out due to a leak at 5000 rpm and full boost, everything was fine when i tore it down

My LQ9 came with an oil cooler lines....we blocked it off though. I don't think my truck had provisions for it.
