people are cheap and don't want to pay for quality. And what I can I argue...the cheaper brands accomplish the same end result...with a lot more headache and issues.

This will go no where as usual.

Well I believe that StainlessWorks should be producing a 1 7/8" header just to keep up with the competition. Yea they're gonna be expensive, and the economy sucks right now, but I don't see ARH or Kooks closing their doors, but I do see a lot of threads about guys looking to buy 1 7/8" headers with 3 or 3.5" collectors, and I know that a few members here have bought the 1 7/8" ARH's (see AKloweriderZ71 and GMCtrk above).

Personally, I'd just be happy if SW could weld me on some 3" collectors with 3" dummy cats and y-pipe on my current setup...on the cheap

i never looked into those LTs yet, but can you tell me how thick the tubing is over a pacesetter LT, Texas Speed?

pacesetter doesnt come in the bigger size, but i have a set of them now and you can hear more pinging basically. also the Texas Speed 1 7/8" are only 500ish. i am ALL for Quality vs Price. any idea on the price 1 7/8" with 3" collectors and the race style with an EGR valve...

Problem is i already spent my change on the SW 1 3/4 with a 2.5 collector....the Y-pipe didnt even fit and i killed the cats from day one. yeah.....i want 1 7/8 with a 3" collector but just cant swing it twice.

Plenty of guys would buy your used headers. You know you need to upgrade, so just do it!

Man, sorry to hear that, my set fit perfectly, and I was the first one to test fit the 03-07 style SW's on a 99-02 for SW, and gave them back info so they could incorporate EGR for the older ones. My cats worked great for over 5 years also, before their guts magically disappeared
