Default where to mount fuel pressure regulator

just wanting to get you guys input on mounting a edelbrock fpr. I have the new edelbrock ls-xt intake and there really isnt any room up front. so if i run it in the front crossover line it needs to be mounted else where. im not really sure how to run it do to the lack of room. how much line is to much if I run it before it comes into the rails? sorry for all the questions just looking for some advice.
