well i found a clean 2009 ly6 pullout with everything and a 4l85 transmission and was wondering wut the hp/tq rating is on one of these engines and wut they are capable of doing at the track in stock scsb or ecsb.also does ne1 know if nelson performance can work on the harness to make it work in my truck or can i just use the standalone harness that was made from nelson for my 03 lq4 4l80???..thx for ne input..

oh ok thats pretty good then..dnt the ly6 l92 heads hav VVT? also would my 03 lq4 be in the same range if i threw some l92s and l92 or ly6 intake,,also will either of these intakes work as cable driven and with my lq4 truck accesories? i want to change over to l92s and either an ly6 or l92 intake and a big cam...

 

The LY6 should already have l92s

Oh yeah sorry your post was a little hard to understand. You can make a bracket to work with the cable driven tb. I remember seeing a few made for guys using the cathedral port tbss intake which should be very similar to getting an l92/ly6 intake to work with cable drive.

 

oh ok thx black04 i hav been tossing around the idea as i honestly would like to build an l92 later on down the road and if i went ahead and bought the l92 heads and intake i would hav the top portion of the engine already bought and could hav sum fun with the lq4 while i build the shortblock l92...
