They have an orange stripe down them. What year are they 01', 02'?

 

'01 springs have a blue stripe. '02 springs have yellow and green. Yours are probably '02s (maybe the yellow faded...?)

 

These springs came directly out of a GM Hot Cam kit and I was told they were 01s(if I remember correctly).

 

All of the 01 springs I've seen are completely blue painted. I haven't personally seen a orange stripe set, but have heard about them. The 02 springs I've seen have either been fully painted a light yellow or have a fat yellow paint stroke down one side.

The coils themselves, are they almost perfectly round metal or are they oval shaped?

Do a search in the internal engine section.
