ok guys what y-car cam will work the best in my truck 2004 rclb,no air work truck,5.3l,t.b. convt 2100 to 2300, 4.10gear,m.t. drag raidals 255/16s at track,afe cold air system,t.b. 1" spacer(just spacer),t.b. by pass,3" straight through cat back,truck aprox. 4300lb. CAMS 2001 ls6 525/525,211/204 , 116LSA OR 2002 upZO6 CAM 551/555,218/204 117.5 LSA. truck usage work, test & tune at track street fun.

wow, all that in one sentence:-P

either would be fine and the specs are backwards.. its 204/211 116 and 204/218 117.5

the 01 would be better since the higher LSA will loose more power downlow and have to rev a little more to make peak HP. I'd get a more truck related cam like a 206/212 or 210/218 all on 114lsa roughly. I see you have a stall also so maybe the 02+ would be fine also.

well: after reading the article in WILL HANDZEL'S book(chevy ls1/ls6 how to)I bought the 2003 zo6 cam #12565308 204/218 117.5 lsa.oh well we will how it works,got zo6 springs and manley 7.450 push rods. going to get jesse(wait4 me tune)to adjust my pc.
