this was my first setup:

5.3 with 212/218 cam like yours, springs, pushrods, TB stall, shorties, no cats, cutout, 3.42 with the one legger!, CAI, and on 26"e/t's I ran a 14.0 at full weight, with tonneau cover and all, and it was tuned by Wait4me back then on a 93oct. tune.

so yes, it is possible, it would of done better if it had Longtubes and Pulley atleast,

then I went with a 220cam, LT's, pulley, 3200stall and 4.11's and nelson tuned and ran a 13.2,,,,

nah not really, i promise

but everyone i call to install it for me is gonna charge me 550-750 in just labor.
wtf i'm thinking of just doing it all myself up until it comes to the rear end then i'll pay someone to do it because F me trying to screw that up.

get you some slicks man, they help.
