Default what will it run??

well im about to do some mods to my truck this weekend and i was wondering what you guys think it will run with the new mods.
truck ran a 9.51 with following mods last time
comp 212/218 cam
shorty headers
bbk80mm tb
nelson tune
electric fans
3.73 gears.
shift kit
mods im doing this weekend are
thunder tr227 cam
918 springs
pushrods
pacesetter long tubes
asp underdrive pulley
what do you guys think it will run with those mods and what do you think it will run when i add a 3000 stall to that combo. this is 1/8th mile

With that big of a cam in the 1/8th mile you may be slower till you get that stall but if I was you I would step it up to a 32-3500 min...JMHO

cam pulls from 2200-6800. allen is setting my shift points at 6500 and they are at 6000 now. also im getting a really good deal on the 3000 and i drive this truck everyday. if i have to ill step up to 410's instead of going up in stall.

i would guess 9.6 in the 1/8 without the stall and 9.1 with the 3000 stall. the stall is really gonna make a big difference with that cam. also i think you will see some better results after the 1/8 with that setup, it will really breath and pull hard up top. just my .02

I'm interested in how this turns out for you. I'm not sure 4.10's will help you get into the power band...you'll likely need to get up to 2800-3000 RPM's to get power with a cam that big, gearing isn't going to change that.

With a tune, I certainly don't see why not. Those big wheels are going to hurt you though. We've got close to the same mods, I ran 13.6 last week starving for fuel above 5500. I shift at 6700. Injectors coming early next week with cool weather, I need a 13.2!
