Default What should i do?

I want my truck to run better so i have come up with 2 options. Either put a good set of heads on the 5.3 and possibly nitrous. Or switch to a 6.0 and stick a bigger cam and better heads on it? my budget is about $2500. is either one possible with that budget? and which one should i choose? thanks!

i had the 5.3 in the truck with n20,ls6 cam and cleaned up the heads and ran best of 8.2 in the 1/8th with no stall but with slicks. Well I blew that motor and now i have a 6.0 stg I heads and a much bigger cam. For the short time that it didn't have a pcm problem the 6.0 feels much stronger so that is a good choice.
