The only thing about a 3000 stall is that I don't think that I could get our boat out of the water on a steep ramp that is wet.

i am not sure what problems you are thinking you would have. you wont have any problems doing anything you want with a 3000stall. it will rip our of the hole harder and brakestall a little higher. it took me about 5 minutes to completely get used to the 3000stall as far as driveability goes.

but with a 4200lb boat and 1200 trailer I don't think that it would pull it out of the water or if it did you would stall at 3000 all the way up the ramp no low end. Am I right or did I miss something?

you are missing something. you can still control it fine. the rpms just come up a few hundered rpm more before the truck starts to creep forward. totaly controled and easy to drive. when you hammer on it then converter will flash up to 3000rpm and you will be flying.

start a new post on just the new converter topic. in the past everyone who voiced their opinion loved the 3000 and said not to go lower. the 2600 stall is kind of new but i bet most people would still say to get the 3000 especily for an ati set up.

I know that a 3000 would be more fun during the year but during the summer trying to pull the boat i don't think it would pull good. I am lost

i dont really know how to explain it. only thing i can say is i wish some other would step in with their converter sugestions for a 6.0 with ati and towing planed. i have always like to get lots of opinions on things like this.
