what oil filters u guys using?

In the end does it really matter? I figured since I run pretty much the cheapest conventional oil I can get, I should use the cheapest oil filter too. The PF61 is not bad at all for a little over $3.

That's because the PF-59, which was a taller filter, was original equipment on those models...that's the filter that my truck came with from the factory.

Yea Napa Gold's Oversized filter is # 1344 and is supposed to be a repackaged Wix Filter #51344.
You can find pics online of them cut open and they are identical.

who said i was paying full price for them? haha. my parts guy orders them through his account rather than the store and sells them to me at cost. so they work out to be the same price as the wix because id have to pay retail for them. either way i like having the extra capacity of the taller filters, whether it be wix, delco, amsoil, k&n or whatever. ill buy whichever is in stock when i need an oil change.

well i get my mobil 1 at wal-mart... cheapest iv found anywhere...
guess ill pick up acdelco filters while im there, iv been using mobil 1 filters for the 3 changes..

I use wix on both my trucks, and get the filters from NAPA.
