No knock retard is what you want. Zero, Zilch, Nada, 0.

I see two mods in your sig. that just don't cooperate with each other. The HPP3 and the descreened MAF. The MAF can lean things out and the HPP3 adds timing. This can lead to massive amounts of knock. I thought 8 degrees was the maximum knock retard in the computer.

Since you can't put the screen back in the MAF try deinstalling the power tuning with the HPP3. Don't worry about anything else but, the power tuning. If any friends leave there truck unlocked steal their stock MAF and swap it out with your descreened MAF.

If that doesn't do it you may want to check and see if it's real knock by running a little high octane unleaded gas thru the tank.

Besides adding timing, the HPP3 will also lean out the mix. The thought is that stock vehicles usually run rich, so hypertech pulled a little fuel and added timing.

If you are seeing KR, log your front O2 sensors. They should be around .89-.90 (only at wide open throttle). A smaller number means that you are getting lean, and a larger number means you are rich.

One other thing to notice, does your KR really jump at the shifts, then slowly get smaller?
