I don't know about you, but I don't think I would put it back in!!

Was this before or after the stall install? I have to change my oil soon, so I will check to see if I have one pop out too.

First oil change after the stall. Only took about a 100 miles before my change oil light came on.

Can't see how the stall install would affect it. Maybe by moving the engine therefore putting stress on the dipstick tube? If that's the case, could've happened with the ASM header install too.

No biggie IMO, engine runs fine, plus I'm a few grams lighter.

That is really strange. You seem to have a good outlook on things -the avatar fits But maybe you put that up there for the other reason

I would not sweat it. Like you said you are a couple grams lighter now LOL

Thanks! The Avatar is courtesy of the stall. I love seeing the truck grow so life is good for now. Tranny problems are always in my mind. I don't run the truck too hard. Don't really have the opportunity to. Maybe once a day I can get on it WOT and run her up to 70 before I have to shut it down because I'm paranoid about the fuzz. Plus I have fire department tags on it so I need to be concerned about PR.

Once again, you guys and gals are great! I wouldn't be here without you all.

I'm working on it! I hear there's one about an hour north of me, but can't find anything about it on the web or in the phone book. I'll keep you all posted though.

Even the good have to play sometime ... I wouldn't worry about that tag much. If it were a PD tag .. then, I'd think twice about playing around in it.

I know when I see a cop car speeding, I always keep up with him if he doesn't have lights on or isn't doing it excessively. I just think that's wrong when they do it since they give you tickets for the same thing. Firemen though ... ehh .. what the hell.

This part looks like the bottom of the dip stick tube.
