Default What muffler with STS

I gutted the cats yesterday. It is to loud for my taste. What would be a good flowing muffler to quiet down the exhaust?

I think someone on here is using a Magnaflow, just make sure its a 3" through so you don't lose flow.

I'm using a straight thru borla 3" muffler with a 3" tailpipe. Even with a straight threw design it made the exhaust almost stock level, but I still have cats.

I think a one of those round dynomax mufflers would work great also. and you would have more room to install it, they are cheaper too.

Magnaflow here. I htink mine was $150 installed with a flange so I can remove it whenever I want.

I'm running nothing... I'm still runnning the cats, but I still can't see how you guys think it's loud enough to put a muffler on. My exhaust is quieter than when I had the flowmaster on the truck stock.

Its mostly the whistle sound and the burbling when you get off the gas that most don't care for. I love the whistle, the wife dosen't......who cares what she thinks about my ride. It makes her want to drive her car and saves me gas money!!!
