Default What mods will void warranties?

I tlaked to someone tonight that said they could get me a deal on a Whipple, a cam, and headers. I'd like to do it, but I'm wondering about how that's going to affect warranty. I also have a custom tune for it that will be here shortly. I just bought the truck so I'm under warranty for a while yet. Let's say something stock goes wrong, are they gonna tell me they can't fix it under warranty becuase of the mods?

it really all depends on how the dealer handles situations like those. some dealers just look the other way and some will tell you it is a no go.

where i work if the mod causes the problem we dont touch it and say sorry, but otherwise we will fix it. we put a new 6.0 in an blown escalade, but some dealers function way different from others so be careful.

Searching, where do you work? PM me.

It all depends on your relationship with the service dept...I have found that gifts work well

Well a cam and springs and stuff Definently does.... Short Headers dont... Im not sure about the long tubes... I think they do..

A custom tune is ok.... as long as you keep your stock computer so you can put it back in if anything ever happend!!
