Default What kind of cats work best?

I have a 97 Z 71 with other mods., I need to know what brand catalytic converters would be the best bang for the buck?

get stock ones, and get a pipe.. put it inside the cat.. then get a sledge hammer and knock out all that honeycomb crap.

thats the best cat

Best for the cash... prolly the CarSounds made by Magnaflow. They go for about $55 shipped from ebay. I've used an assload of them in the past.

You can get to one of the cats that way, but the other has an "S" bend in the tubing. You need a plumbers snake to get to that one. Chuck your snake up in your electric drill and have at it. A truck sounds real good with header and gutted cats.

The dynomax cats are supposed to be good. I'll be getting them in a few months.
