BigTex said someone on here did the swap. gained about 20-30 hp and shaved a few tenths of his ET. I think it might be a option. I am getting my cousins truck over here today and I am going to use it to mock up another manifold. Then I can really see what it involves.

the reason I mentioned my swap is because the reason people swap from LS1 intakes tio LS6 intakes is to gain the high-end airflow that the LS6 intake is capable of.....unless you are going to put a cam in to take advantage of the airflow stick with the truck intake....it'll flow all you can use for normal driving

Only changes were the intake and a short belt.

That was a friends escalade. I took it apart this past spring and sold it at auction. I sold the manifold conversion bracket and misc parts to redaddiction this past summer. I still have the FAST manifold and direct port system sitting in my garage on a shelf. Anyone want a direct port setup?

Could have swore Nick Williams made an ECT 90mm Throttle Body. Could be wrong though....

Nick Williams does make a 90mm TB for the corvette guys. Problem is the internal sensors on the corvette aren't the same as the truck sensors. Same thing with the LS2 throttle bodys.

I didn't really like the location of the speartech idler bracket. It keeps the same belt routing which left the belt way too close to the throttle body for my tastes.

Thanks for that tidbit. I am looking for an intake and TB setup for my blown 5.3L 2004 Avalanche I was looking at the the FAST intake. I guess the FAST intake and the BBK 80MM ECT TB is the hookup for this situation? Any alternatives?
