Yeah, it was supposed to be called the "Colorado". Haven't heard anything about it in a long time...

It's 2004 and will have the new straight six like the Trail Blaizer. Trail Blaizers will have an optional 5.3L in 2004 also

I was pretty sure that Chevy was coming out with an updated S-10 for '03.

It was supposed to be a mid-size truck like the Dakota and sport an optional V-8. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Anyone heard anything about it or was Chevy just teasing us again?

Thanks

John

i saw a little blurb about these little suckers..

it said they are going to put a 5 cylinder in it, yes i did not mis-type that! a 5 cylinder, supposed to put out 240hp....

they said the 6 cylinder, 270hp, would be an "overkill" hmmm... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Yeah, a guy over a ls1.com who works in the plant where the s10 is built posted that the new truck would have the standard 4 and a new I5. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

I guess Chevy figured they've been teasing us with a V8 model since the S10's inception in '82 so why should they stop now.

I'll give'em a few years. They might decide to throw a V8 in one of these days. <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />
