Default What gains to expect????

Hey guys. If i were to purchase the new VeraRam King Cobra ram air, Electric Fans, and a predator programmer, what gains would you expect me to see. I have an 01 Chevy Ext Cab 2wd with a 5.3........Any suggestions? I thought this would be a good combo

well i dont' think anyon here is using that new intake system yet because it hasn't been out long. I would say you would get about 8-12 hp out of the e fans and maybe 15-20 out of the programmer. thats just my guess though

If it were me. Id build a ram air setup from you stock box, get a cam, and a custom tune. Nelson is very popular around here and it costs about the same as a Predator and gives much more power and he will retune for new mods. Id also check the classifieds, there are a couple guys selling 212/218 for a great preice and that would run great!!

Not sure on HP #'s, but I would think you could knock around 5-7 tenths off of your ET, maybe a bit more. I really don't have any experience with the Predator or the Vararam, but being most Air Intakes yeild close to the same gains, and the same for most hand held programmers, that's about what I knocked off with my HPPIII and the AEM intake, but I don't have the electric fans. I spent the money on the Yank TT3000, and that dropped my ET by 4 tenths in itself...and it may even run faster. As much trouble as everyone seems to be having with the fans around here, I don't expect to be using them any time soon.

I would say around ..3-.5 of your Et and very noticable shift difference with the predator.

From a HP aspect I say you 'd be lucky to see a .3 improvment. From a altered shifting standpoint + HP I think maybe .5 would be doable.
