what would be a better option??
1.) stock fuel pump with an in-line fuel pump.
or
2.) replace stock fuel pump with an aftermarket performance pump (walbro-sp?)...
what pressure is the stock fuel pump and what pressure is the after market fuel pump??
thanks...

how old is your stocker? if its still pretty fresh an in line pump would do you fine.... what injectors are in your 6.0? if they're not too huge you wont need anything bigger than a 255lph. Even with a shot.

I dont understand how an inline works tho. Does it just tell the stock pump to pump more? I mean I guess what im thinking is if you take somethign that sucks say 50 PSI and you add something "INLINE" how is that gonna pull more fuel out of that stock unit only allowed to push 50 PSI?
AM i just a complete idiot thinking this? Feel free to hack away.

they key here to keeping the pressure is providing the FLOW. The fuel pressure regulator controls the fuel pressure, as long as you can provide enough flow to the regulator your pressure will stay up, but if you use more fuel that the pump(s) can provide then the pressure drops. Does that help with understanding this?
