Default what flows better?

well ive gotten mixed feelings on what intake flows better between the truck intake and the ls1 car intake. i would like to know if anyone has any dyno numbers proving either way. if the ls1 intake doesnt flow any better then im not gonna make the swap, if it does then i can get one for $30. so post up guys.

I have heard that the car intake doesnt flow enough to make the swap. But ls6 on the other hand would worth you while.

well i dont have the money to get an ls6 intake and do the swap right now. it would cost at least $500 dollars to do that swap and i can do the ls1 swap for less than $150. but im not gonna waste my money if it aint worth it. thats why i would like to see some dyno sheets showing which one made more power.

Don't waste your time on the LS1. LS6 or better. Do a search. Someone posted results out of a magazine a while back. Had 4 or 5 different intakes tested with dyno numbers. And, with different tb also.

ls1 not worth the swap but to do the ls6 you better have a motor that can pull up high or its not woth the swap either. i run one but i also pull up top. if you have a little cam dont bother and stick with the truck setup. if you have a cam with duration above 226/228 then go ls6.

as for the swap theres two ways one is the bracket setup or the way i did and completely use fbody front accesories but this may cost the average person a fortune

thats the kinda info im looking for. i just didnt want to go thru the trouble of changing everything if it wasnt gonna help. i do have p&p heads and a 224/228 114lsa cam. do you think thats enough to justify the ls1 intake, cuz i am not spending the money on the ls6.
