Default What FI should i go w/?

I was wondering what, if any, Forced induction will raise my MPG. If not, what type and brand will only cause it to decrease very little.

turbo will raise mpg if you can manage not to slam on the gas all the time.
but compared to the money spent on the turbo...gas money will be nothing.

livernois and squires turbo systems remote mount turbo are the two most complete commercial looking kits online both around 4000

problem is that you are needing alot of stuff before you do any FI...you need locker/lsd, maybe a 6.0L, headers, other supporting mods, a better transmission...the list goes on

yeah having fi is going to cost more than having bad gas milage, beside when you get the fi its kinda hard to not keep the pedel out of the floor

I noticed almost no change after the Radix install in mpg, only in mph Who cares about gas mileage? You may lose 1 or 2 mpg from time to time cause you will want to race every Honda civic with a fart can but that only equates to $20 a month. If you can drop 4 or 5 grand on a S/C then the gas shouldn't be an issue.

Well i'm gonna try to have a high HP truck and still get kick *** gas mileage. I'm getting 22-23MPG right now with the occassional 0-80 run or some kind of race. But i'm not tryin to get FI just to get better gas mileage, yeah it's mostly for the HP, but if i could get 3 million miles out of this truck, i can almost pay for it right?? haha

Another quick question out of curiosity. Will an STS turbo still bolt up if you have a completely custom exhaust?? i have true duals, the turbo would bolt up to just one pipe though right??? I really don't know what i'm trying to ask except, will it work???? and if so, how?

I would think for the sts kit, you would have to put a Y on the end of your duals to go into the turbo and that should be it.
