I am just about done with my lq4 swap hopefully this week. Went from a 5.3 with 206/212 comp cam and a few other goodies w/ 4l60e making about 350 flywheel hp per the dyno at MTI in houston. Swapped to bone stock lq4 from an 06 HD and a brand new 4l65e. I do have an ported throttle body, thorly tri y's, and I will be running a tune from wheatly. Will there be much differnce I hope to be close to what I was. Anyone got a clue?

 

should have alot more torque from the lq4 and a lil more power .

probably slightly more tq, and less hp as an lq4 is rated at 300hp from the factory. my bone stock lq4 put down 247hp 281tq through the 2500hd drivetrain and a manual trans....

 

It's definately a move in the right direction. There is no replacement for displacement.

 

Did you put the cam in the 6.0, or is it stock?
