what else do i need for engine swap
#1
well im going to the dealership probably in a week or 2 to pick up the parts for my 6L swap, just want to make sure i dont forget anything. I have to get a timing cover gasket, differential gasket, oil pan gasket, lifters, head gaskets, header gaskets, new oil pimp, and head bolts. am i missing anything here? also should i just get the stock lifters? also, does the type of gasket matter for the heads, im going to put some 243s on it so what type of gasket and head bolts should i get part number wise. thanks fellas

Technically you don't need any of that stuff for a swap cuz you don't have to take the engine apart.
So if we knew what all you have to do we can tell you what else you might need.
I take it that the engine is in pieces?

They're listed for $36 for both sides. 5.7 head gaskets mesure 4.00 bore
