Does anybody else with a DMH get a rattle from it?
Mine rattles like it isn't closing all of the way. It only started after about a year.

Mine started doing that. It would seal if I held the button down, but as loon as I let up there was some slack and it rattled a bit. I emailed the guy (dmh) and he sent me a brand new one when I sent my old one back.

I've got them on my old '66 truck and their badass. No butterfly valve to have sealing problems down the road. They're expensive as **** but they already come with fully sealed motors and such and are ceramic coated. They've gotten much more expensive since when I got them for the '66, but they're still probably worth it if you got the coin. I love mine. I bet I ride around more with the exhaust open on that truck then closed.

I have a DMH 3" that I haven't installed yet, but just by looking at it I can tell that it's a quality piece. I ordered it straight from DMH without the dump pipe for $175 shipped. If you do order it from DMH, don't get worried if it takes a while to get it and you don't hear from them, from what I've heard it's a one man operation...it took me a few weeks to get mine and I started to get nervous after I never got return calls or emails, but everyone here told me just to be patient, and sure enough it arrived as expected
