Default what does a misfire sound like?

alright so i was just reading about this guy and his misfire problems. i dont have any but i always like to know what problems with the engine and exhaust system sound like, does anyone have any way to explain to me what a misfire sounds like and how to identify it etc?

dont really hear it oyu feel it. You feel a little "shudder" in the idle most of the time or like the motor feels "off-balance" its really hard to explain but when it happens you will know it for the most part if you are having TRUE misfires the computer sense ALOT of false misfires.

so it will throw a code? it doesnt feel like a backfire kinda feeling? i dont think i have one but with the open header about 1/2throttle it started to feel like it was going to back fire and did once,

Sounds like what my truck did when I was having real random misfires. Does you ses light flash while this is happening? Mine did.

Default Could be bc of the rear o2s??

If the headers are open then the rear o2s aint readin. Just a thought. Good luck.

my tuner deleted my rear o2's because i told him i was planning on doing the LT's, no SES light at all. 2 heat cycles. this didnt start happening since i did the LT's and i used to get a back fire with my cut out and stock manifolds before it got tuned some im pretty sure this is the cause

youll know when you have a miss fire for sure,the truck stumbles, it is not fun
