I didn't see any jazz or funk on there! WTF?!?

Like they say, "Jazz is the teacher, funk is the preacher!"

Like the others said, TOOL does rule, and its hard to find something else that compares. New album drops this year!!! Woohooo! Its supposed to be the heaviest yet!

I dig progressive rock too, like Dream Theater and stuff. I don't think you can appreciate the notes they play unless you're a musician yourself. I think Jazz and Be Bop is the same way.

Flipper: That's some funny ****! I think we've all had/have a girl that's done that to us.

I started listening to GnR in elementary school when Appetite for destruction came out, I put aside my DJ jazzy jeff and the fresh prince, ll cool j and never looked back. The first tape I ever bought was aerosmiths toys in the attic the second was appetite for destruction I still listen to them to this day I have all thier albums in the truck.

As far as new stuff audioslave, linkin park, tool is good but there arent alot of rock bands that stand up to what music was 30 or even 15 years ago. I can get on a computer and mix a track of beats WTF

When I want some good **** though I put in OTEP

chicks and heavy metal I love it
