Default Yes...

...it is louder than the OE tube when opened up and at some curise speeds. The hanging air chamber is gone too so you can see more of the engine bay on the passenger side.

I have one and everyone seems to think its too pancaked and restrictive for my application.

Default Did you let them see the OE for a comparison.

Are these people induction engineers? Heh Heh. It shapped as such so it will fit both the clutch and E-faned motors. If you want to see how much more it flows than the OE, or is capable of flowing, lay them side by side, up-side down.
I do not know your application requirements, but the Airaid MIT is a pretty good improvent over the OE.

It's def an improvement over stock, but I'm thinking a custom made intake would be a better setup, since I do have the efans and can go with an overal wider intake tube.

Like has been said above, this design is made to fit around the stock fan shroud. It is far better then stock but with the efans you get rid of the shroud and can run a 3" or 4" tube instead of the MIT. The MIT is pancaked up in the middle so it still is a small restriction.

I have one and it's an ok mod, but will change to a homemade one ( completely round, no restrictions ) once I get some electric fans.
