b/c when you turn up the turbo past say 5 psi, the IAT temps skyrocket. Like a 7-9 psi range, your looking at ~200 degree IAT temps. Then you throw an FMIC on there and run the same psi and you are looking at ~100 degrees less. My IAT's are just over 60* on the freeway with the intercooler at 7.5 psi.

Running methanol will keep the temps down in the same manner as in intercooler, correct? The cost to do a front mount intercooler on my Denali would most likely be out there so I was thinking about running the meth-kit.

by the way...if you need a ride, Ive got about 5 denalis or escalades within 5 minutes that we just installed Radixs on. Youll make your decision quickly.

Right, I understand the whole IAT thing. (well kinda) I just didn't know if you meant some kind of cooler to catch the debris from a turbo failure before it gets to the engine.
That is one thing I'm not too sure on with the STS.

But I'm thinking about going the crazy turbo route so when I get stupid, I can turn up the boost, blow the motor, and force myself to build the motor!

Far as cost, one factor I looked at too was with the sts kit you don't really need a mufflers or headers.
I know you don't need them with supercharger either, but how many people put a supercharger on and Not do headers with true dual exhaust. Good set of headers, mufflers, and exhaust ran probably costs well over $1000.

Then it sounds like a Turbo is the way to go!
