Default What coils use long/short style plug wires?

I can get a sweet deal on a set of new delco plug wires for a lsx truck but they're the "short style". What coil type gets the short wire? If I remember the round coils get short and the square coils get the long? Am I right on that?

Default Plug Wire Fitment

The round coils with the angled metal brackets came with shorter wires than the square coils, however, there are some notable differences in fitment.

Here's the breakdown (boot end to boot end):
GM long truck (square coil) 11"
GM short truck (round coil) 9 1/2"
MSD 32823 (LSx truck) 12 1/8"
MSD 32813 (LSx car) 9 3/8"

Although the MSD 32813 appears close enough in length to GM short truck (round coil), because of the boot configuration, the wire will not fit.
