what is carbon knock???

with high gas prices the engine usually only runs 6minutes to work and 6 minutes back

Either way. Carbon build up on these new fangal motors isn't like it used to be on them old carburated motors. I dont think carbon build up is even a issue. Your cats would help let you know if it was. Run some top engine clean and drive the hell out of it for a day to see if help, couldn't hurt, but I doubt carbon build up is a problem.

Fragile? These motors take a hellava lot more than the Gen1.About the carbon Issue,i think you are totally right on.Hope for the best.

ya, I pm'ed you yesterday after i put it on. I took a before and after shot.. it looks pretty close to the same.. but i could tell the second i took the truck off the jack stands that it was lower... thanks again.
