Default What bolt holes does EGR take up?

Can someone please provide me with a close up picture of the front of the head where the EGR pulley hooks up and the connection from the manifold to the EGR on the 99-01 trucks? I have a project I am working on that I am trying to make compatible with the 99-01 models as well....

Thanks!

I would like to see a close up of the back side of that pulley where it attaches to the head and also the EGR connection from the passengers exhaust manifold to whatever it connects to as well...

Thanks in advance,
Sean.

I don't have a pic of the back of that pulley (which is the tensioner for the serpentine belt), but I do have a pic of the EGR bolted to the head.

Thanks, my 03 does not have that pulley so I assumed it was for the EGR. Thanks for the pic of the EGR. If anyone else has a pic of where that pully attaches to the head I would appreciate it.

Thanks again.

So there is nothing taking up any of the 4 bolt holes on the front of the passengers side head on 99-06 trucks?

Depends on what year it is, 02 and up do not have EGR, so I believe those bolt holes are un-used. I just took a quick look at mine...I deleted my EGR a few years ago when I swapped in an 02 PCM,...and all 4 bolt holes are available. I can't remember how many bolts the EGR used to have though (2 or 3). I tried to look at the markings of where the EGR used to be, and it was definitely bolted to the 2 upper holes, and possibly the right lower hole. The left lower hole (intake side) is definitely unused.

I did a search and found this pic in the GM parts classifieds, it appears that the EGR bracket only has 2 holes, so EGR equipped trucks have the upper 2 bolt holes on the head used for the EGR bracket, while the lower 2 are unused.
