Volant is the best for GM products, plus it has a closed lid for more low end torque. You can also make or buy a ram air tube that goes down to the spoiler for a Volant and get a couple of extra ponies. Don't waste you money on a TB spacer, they don't work!!

I always figured a tune is a given! No need to put it on the list. I will probably just have it dyno tuned, i am not too understanding on where to go or what to do best for a tune! Any pointers would be appreciated.

I'd say he was, with a 30hp gain on a TB spacer.

what about those vararam cold air intake system that takes air from the lower air dam.

nightrunner 07-23-2006 03:22 PM

i heard that the fit and finish is horrible on them and they normally come with missing parts and that they dont flow as well as others

search for the thread there is one here somewhere that some one did a review on one

I went to lowes and got some 4" pvc piping with a 90* and made my own. Cost was $20 compair to $129. The trick was making the scoop for the air dam. My friend is an a/c guy, so he made one to fit, and I just painted it black.

You Can Make Your Own Or ,the Cheapest Ive Found Was A Mac Cia For Like 180$, Some People Argue Over The Metal Or Plastic Intake Tube, which One Is Better, the Plastic Makes More Sense To Me, But You Prolly Wont Be Able To Tell A Difference.

MorepowerTY 07-24-2006 07:51 PM

Someone once told me that the metal gets hotter than the plastic, obviously, so you lose some ponies.
