218/228 .550/.550 with a 3k stall should be nice for your truck

none of the above...214/220 doesnt sound bad but it doesnt have enough lift for my taste

lift won't matter if you're on stock heads.

the 215/218 seems to be the best out of all of them...

I read in another one of his posts that the stock heads quit flowing at around 500 of lift if I remember correctly.

Exactly, and there is absolutely no evidence to support the claim that more lift= more horsepower on our heads(753's or whever the 4.8/5.3L heads are called). Of course if you have worked heads that would be different. There are plenty of flow charts to prove my point too.

been reading alot of hitmans posts huh?

sure it wont flow any more past 500 but it will stay above 500 for longer to get max air in. i picked up 7/10 with my cam. .587 lift. this can be argued all day. the heads "Fagged out" at 500 which is how ive heard it put, why do cam companies make dozens of off the shelf cams with high lift if it doesnt work.

heres a way of looking at it. you can breathe through your mouth just fine when its wide open, but if its only wide open for a split second you wont get as much air in as you want.
