Default What is this

My truck is making a sound when it revs past 2000 rpms with the a/c on. Took it to the dealer and of course it stopped making the sound Then did it again when I got home A/c works good and it does not do it with it off. The second rev is with the a/c off

sounds like it could be belts. cant tell exactly from the video. is it coming from under the cab or under the hood. that would be a easy cheap fix

pop the hood and push the throttle cable over on your throttle body. if the sound is right there in front of you you need to dress/tighten/replace the belt to your ac.

man thats wierd im having the same problem, a/c off ok, a/c on sounds just like yours, took it to local mechanic he change the belt tensioner pulley(pulley next to the a/c compressor) and new belt, didnt help still made it, so took it to dealership as soon as told them what was going on and they heard it they said that the a/c compressor was going bad and putting extra strain on it, and belt and compressor can go at anytime, been doing it for like a week now. but mine also has about 120,000 miles. ive got a 6.0 w accessories about to put so i guess i can live with until i get it in just kind of embarrassing when driving and making that loud *** sound
