Default wet road 1/4 mile times

it started to snow today. since it was cold, thought i would get some g-tech competition times in before the roads got covered with snow. look at my numbers. i definitely need to improve my 60' times, and 0-60. any suggestions? i was thinking the easiest solution is a torque converter, maybe a yank3000. i tow, plus have stock tires and suspension, so i can't go to high. i did the following 2 runs using auto 4WD and 30*F.

et 15.766 at 89.55
60' 2.708
1/8 10.303 at 72.90
0-60 7.532

et 15.484 at 92.54
60' 2.702
1/8 10.163 at 74.69
0-60 7.202

i ran in both directions on a flat road. i switched out of auto 4wd when i hit 2nd gear. would have done more runs, but roads were getting too wet, and the chevy dealership with an SS silverado was a 1/4 mile down the road and it was calling my name. and no, i did not bring the g-tech with me on the test drive, salesman was with me

not exactly sure why you are making runs in the rain but 4hi would get you a little better 60' time. in auto4wd it doesn't lock untill after you start to turn them over.

my $.02, a stall is the best thing you can buy for your truck, yea they cost around $700 bucks but you get around a 1/2 sec out of the thing, that is cheap ET reduction there. i have the yank 3000 and do recomend it to everyone as a minumim. if you want full towing that is the highest you can go.

dont worry it wasn't raining. a few snow flakes made a few damp spots. for the most part the pavement was dry.
