...do you.
I asked you "Can he program a 2005 truck", "With the L33 5.3". And I'll add this now. "With a "B" engine code VIN number?
I did not ask you how the mail exchange proccess works.
In order for him to tune my truck's computer without it's OE core he has to have my VIN number in his software list so he can flash it in and my truck will start.

And how much would it cost for a 2002 pcm tune for a '99 truck?

Actually no... I did not get it. Your post in the thread only said
The L33 truck to be specific?
. Looking higher in the post I found
Can He Mail Order Tune 05's.
. By that point I was thinking about something else as my fingers typed the reply because after reading what I wrote I can see that it wasn't what I was thinking at the time

Shouldn't be a problem but I can see if he has the complete list of 2005 trucks (specifically with the B code) to program. Haven't heard that he is limited with these.

bigredexpress99: Haven't had that request before. I'll get back to you on this.

The first batch will be ordered when we receive 10 orders. I believe there are 7 or 8 in as of today.

Since the 99 PCM tuning was crappy from the factory, could i just exchange my 99 4.8L PCM for a 2001 4.8L PCM with the shipping and handling fee? instead of an actual "tune" cost since i just want a factory 01 4.8L PCM

Thanks,
Dave

bigredexpress99: The reply from Westers was - Sorry--we don't do that. There are 4 or more pins which won't be correct for the 1999 truck, and charging system problems will result.

s3gulit: Can't do that one.

Tomorrow is the last day for this GP.
