Wery happy with my new muffler.

Hi,
I thougt I might give you some feed back on the route I chose to get a better sounding and less restrictive exhaust sytem.
First off, my Tahoe 04 5.3 is stock, except for my own HPtuning.
I fitted a stainless 3" "glass pack"? (I am not sure about the propper name in English.)
The muffler body is 140/220 by 500 mm, straight through design, with one pipe in the center and on the oposite side on the side.
The pipe inside the muffler is perforated with round holes, and then packed with some kind of fibre.
I just cut the OE muffler out and used one 60 degre stainless elbow to connect the pipe on it´s way up over the rear axle.
In front of the new muffler, I used an stainless adapter pipe from 2,3/4" to 3"
The fit was perfect, same exit location as stock, in Europe that mean in the rear, beside the tow bar.
The sound is wery low in tone, deep base like. No drone in cabin, and quiter than stock while going 60 to 120 km/h. Gives that nice rumble as soon as you give it som pedal.
Suits me pefect, turning 47 next time
I have been
on all those exhaust/muffler/cat back threads, so I thougt I would share this as a "thanks for the advice"
