The gains will be negligible at best....and you will need more than an intake to make it work

The FAST will make more peak. Not sure about the grunt area. Youd have to get an LSX and a 90MM TB. They aint cheap. Keep the truck intake man.

the truck intake made as much hp till 5500rpm's as the fast and the ls1 and ls6. above the 5000 and 6000rpm levels the others made more but it was minmal as to the torque that the truck intake generated. the truck intake actually had a better torque and hp curve. being as these trucks are bricks i think the truck intake is best for our application.

you will need to make some spacers-get an idler pulley relocater bracket-cut the water pump. prolly a few other mods. i have pondered this swap so many times just to find out. i think i still might do it.

The LSx and LS1/6 intakes require lots of mods to the belt/pulley system as the non truck models are lower and cause the TB to interfere. It also requires the car style waterpump ( the return hose is up on the truck vs forward on the car again for clearance ).
There is another post on here for a idler pulley relocator for the trucks using the car intake.
In the end, the others are exactly right. You will gain some hp/trq above 5000rpm but lose below that. For our big rolling bricks low end torque is better IMHO.
