Default weird problem with a 6.0

Last night slow6.0 and I went out in his dad's truck 01 2500hd 6.0 with a 150hp shot. It was a very bad night to start off with but we ran across some Honda's that we where trying to get to race us earlier. One of them did we went from a Dig than a 20mph roll both times we beat him. Just as we thought things where getting better the truck died and would not start. If you touched the gas peddle it would crank but no start but it start for a second and die if you didn't touch the peddle. We towed the truck to my shop and left it there for the night. This morning we went my shop to figure out what happen. We stuck the key in and it fired right up and ran fine.
Does anyone have an idea what happen???

Was it a dry shot? If so, the MAF could have frozen.

No we didn't get a chance. When it fired up we let it set and run for 20 min then took out and made a couple runs up and down the road on the motor with the no problems.

Sounds like a fuel pump issue. Safety switch for the nitrous?

mine will do that every once in a while after shooting the nos. i think it is the fuel pump beginning to give up the ghost. not sure though since the pressure doesnt drop much on the gauge.
