Default Weird.......

Thursday night i got in my truck and the Service engine soon light came on. Everything seemed alright.

I did have an exhaust leak but it was too far back that i dont think it'd matter. It was just behind my muffler. but since it was starting to sound like i welded it back(still a very small leak though)

Today i took my truck to the tire place to put some tires on. and my engine light wasnt on.

Would this leak really have turned my SES light on?

there is no way that caused an SES light. if the light is off you can still have the code pulled. it will be stored as a history code instead of a current fail.
