I had one shipped to my house from ATL, it weighed alittle under 500lbs with out the intake manifold. Oh! it was also missing one piston and a lifter. I will never buy a motor on ebay ever again! It cost me $380 shipping and 700 for the motor. I threw away over 1000 buck that easy.

Yeah, I am not very happy with that guy. He said it had 25k miles, in great shape. I pulled the spark plugs and they where all chewed up, not a good sign. I pull the valve cover and the lifter is missing, not good. I pull the head and I see a rod and wrist pin siting in the #5, no piston. I'm pissed, the block is scratched up prety good to. I don't know if it is a useable block anymore. On top of that he says the intake got lost in the mail. He was suppost to ship it seperate with fed ex. He gave no tracking number or nothing. I was really close to buying a ticket and paying him alittle visit. But that would of been another $250 for the ticket, and who knows how much bail would be for murder, I just decided to let it go. But it still hurts..

Sometimes cutting the loss is a good idea. Did you report him to ebay?

Yeah! 500lbs give or take the weight of a missing piston. LOL. The guy keep stalling on shipping it out. By the time I got the motor and reported it, ebay and paypal said they couldn't do anything... I only was able to leave a negitive feed back. I think his name was chopperbuck or something like that. I am sure he just changed his account after that.

I can see when I go home I still have the paper work on my 6.0L when I had it shipped from Denver. It was a Complete 6.0L sitting on a crate.
